Peter Laviolette has never won the Jack Adams

The Rangers have never had a coach that won the Jack Adams

- jimbro83

He's probably not winning this year either, even though he probably should. Tocchet Bownes, and Roy all might finish ahead of him.

Knoblauch will definitely get some votes. He'd be my pick. Tocc seems like the favorite though

I am. He's a getting some social media love. I don't think he should, but I wont be surprised if Laviolette finishes 4th or 5th.

Agreed! I'll get set up with the FirestickTV multi-channel function and have both of those, the Leafs/Panthers and the Jays/Yanks all on at the same time!!

Twice this year the Wild pulled their goalie in OT trying to get the win. I didn't previously know if you did that and lost, you forfeited the "loser point"

Yeah.

Game 1: 4-3 OT win for the Canes
Game 2: 5-4 OT win for the Isles
Game 3: 5-4 Win for the Isles
Game 4: 4-1 win for the Canes.

Worth noting that the first three games happened prior to Christmas, when the Canes were kinda sloppy and goaltending was a mess. They were 17-13-4 at that point with a goal differential of +1.

Since that point they've gone 35-9-3 with a goal differential of +65. Completely different team in the second half of the season than they were in the first.

Only thing I questions about the Canes is in net, everything else, they are incredibly deep.

it's amazing that the Rangers didn't make the playoffs in 1993, won President's trophy in 1994 yet Keenan didn't win Jack Adams

He most certainly wasn’t a league favorite and his paving the way during the playoffs to land in St Louis didn’t sit well

See everyone keeps saying that but still had the third fewest goals against per game, and it's never been the goaltending that let them down in the playoffs, its always been the scoring drying up.
