Rob Brind'amour should ask for 6M/yr with Carolina, he is UFA this summer and the owner is a wiener....

Worse case for RBA...sign with Buffalo for 6M+/yr

The Canadiens have agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract (2024-25 to 2025-26) with forward Luke Tuch.

Tuch has also signed a deal to finish the season with the Rocket.

As per Anthony Marcotte

Tuch is already with the Laval Rocket and is expected to practice today.

With a season-ending injury to Perreault and nagging injuries to Gignac and Stephens, there's a good chance he can draw in for the last two games of the season this weekend.

Struble and Barron only.

Roy who is already down in the AHL might be close to a return, his injury was 4-6 weeks and it will be 4 weeks on Friday I think.

As for Hutson, it's obvious he's good enough to play in the NHL and get his fair share of points during the season.

Don't know if he starts the season in the NHL next year but he looked pretty damn good in his first game with an immediate impact. Reminded me of how Caufield showed up and was already good enough.

I think he needs to learn the system and react quicker defensively.

He was out of position a few times, did not pick up his man, etc... maybe pre-season he can adjust, but I would not be surprised if he starts the season in Laval before being called up.

Habs have lots of D, no need to rush.

but like Goal, he might need a stint in the AHL next year to work on a few things, it will be a year of development for him. Let's give him a couple years before his game reaches the next level.

He played over 21min last night....not bad for a 1st game

Yeah but no D that can do what he does. If he generates more than he gives away I would keep him in the NHL.

My philosophy is that you learn quicker playing agaisnt better opposition surrounded by better teamates with better coachs.

I would only send him down if he's over-exposed and finishing every game -2,-3

I agree with you, but he might be sent down to begin the year regardless because of how many LHD we have.

But if they are serious about making a push for the playoffs next year, he'll be part of it at some point. Too much skill not to use him.
