Brodz got in some games in 2022 run, did he not? We sat Reaves about halfway thru the carolina series that year because it became obvious he couldn't keep up. Might be a similar situation this year - t-dawg
From what I found, Jonny got into only 1 game.
I'm a fan, just think that Rempe brings more of what we need at this point in time. |

I have a feeling Rempe will fight Wilson, or Mcilrath in game 3. Caps will look for some energy in their building. He isn’t coming out of the lineup imo, Rempe that is |

Probably the best defensive forward Rangers ever had, too bad he retired after the 92-93 season |

The deeper this series goes the more necessary he will be. Hopefully its Wilson he fights and not McIlrath. Wilson is far more important to the Caps to have on the ice than McIlrath. |

I actually think he looks better each game in some ways. For the knocks on his skating, he has some speed. With a skating coach he could be a real force. |

His straight line speed is good. Its his agility and edge work thats needs to improve

Straight line speed is not the issue, its the turns that look like a cruise ship trying to make a hairpin turn. |

Definitely, but he's still serviceable. |

Yea they need him this round. Caps cannot keep up skill wise, so they will start taking liberties |

Absolutely, his hits have caused several broken plays. |

I hope they can get Chytil in there for a game this round or maybe to start the second round.
I initially wanted Roslovic to come out but he looks OK at times. I still think he is completely miscast in the top 6 though. |

Well described lol
I think next series we’ll probably see Chytil and I’d think Wennberg will be the 4C, with Chytil between Cuylle and Kakko |

Jacks shot and speed is too good not to play. That’ll keep him in the lineup. That was a huge goal he had. Minus the brain farts I think he’s been pretty good overall |

I agree Rempe isn't coming out. So many missed (and egregious) calls out there that should have tempered this game/series. It seems like everywhere you looked it was sticks to the face, elbows and trips. Now Panarin needs to have his head on a swivel. Wes F'n McCauley. |

if Panarin had scored on that semi break at the tail end of the game I was about to go crazy

Eventually, if you decide to play Chytil over Rempe. Chytil to the top line Roslovic to the third and Cuylle to the 4th. If you decide to go Chytil and Rempe. Then either Cuylle or Roslovic will sit more than likely |

I yelled "who the (frank) is that to?!" - JRR1285
I know.
I was screaming that even if he couldn't beat that defender, he had to try and draw a penalty. But, as soon as Mess said in the intermission that 1000% Oshie was calling for a pass, it was pretty clear. I would've done that, too!! |

this is the best shorthanded Rangers team I have ever seen (even though Caps got a couple last night) - jimbro83
Mika and Kreids are somehow the most dangerous players on the ice during opposing teams power plays, and I fu cking love every second of it!! |

The depth is showing, 8 goals so far with 8 different goal scorers. Ironic since that was the bugaboo during the season for a good chunk of time |

I was thinking about it this morning. Teams literally need to draw up a PP plan that works the puck around down low, because anytime it's up top Mika and Kreids are lethal. |
