There is much talk that a deal is being discussed and players are considering options... I am told that we could see this deal go down in the next week to ten days. I am also told that that the likelihood of Heatley being in the Sens camp is almost zero despite the face that is being put on by the Sens.

Talk has once again heated up with the Canadiens and Kings involving Frolov who looks more and more likely to be the guy on the way out in LA. The Kings have also had discussions with Buffalo.

With the acquisition of Tanguay looking imminent, it is now my strong opinion that the Lightning have been the biggest winners this summer. adding much needed defense with Ohlund, Hedman, and Walker, and another top 6 forward in Tanguay, the Lightning are looking every bit the playoff contender...
