Welcome to the SlapShot Radio Road Trip. We just left our meeting point and we are on the road to Raleigh, North Carolina to see the Hurricanes and Predators do battle tonight. We have 70 people on the way… 55 on this bus and another 15 arriving by various other means.

Driving to the game has n=me wondering, what Predator team is going to show up tonight? The gritty, motivated team that defeated Montreal, or the less than enthusiastic one that blew a three goal lead in Toronto?

Carolina is coming off a shootout loss to Pittsburgh last night and has been struggling in the suddenly competitive Southeast Division.

I’ll be updating from the bus as the trip goes on… we will also be posting pictures on the SlapShot Radio website… Stay tuned.

We have just crossed the North Carolina border, spirits are high and wee are ready for some hockey!
