Last night after spending an inordinate amount of time writing up the obituary of a sad Kings' performance all around, I read Matthew Kredell's and the LA Times write-up of the game saying that Sunday's day off was canceled based on the obvious, time for a wake-up call.
I checked the practice time to see it being called for 9:00 a.m. Despite pulling an all nighter at work on Thursday, I thought I want to see a punishment skate up close and personal. Well, there I was on 5 hours sleep at the Toyota Center waiting for I don't know what. Suffice it to say, I never saw anything ON the ice except 3 different Zamboni runs to clean the ice for play. Some people told me at some point that the ON ice practice would start at 11:15. With a major sigh and an extra dose of caffeine/sugar, I waited even longer to see what would follow.
Well, by 11:45, I gave up.
Per Matthew Kredell, there was NO practice just a closed door meeting. Since I was actually at the practice facility, this sounds funny to me. There was notice on a chalk board there that the practice would start at 11:15 a.m. and multiple people were waiting there with me to see the practice. Hopefully, more clarity will come tomorrow.

Manchester Updates:
The Manchester webcast just announced that Jonathan Quick and Gabe Gauthier have been recalled. This means 2 things, LaBarbera won't be able to dress tomorrow and Cloutier thankfully isn't getting the call. Gabe Gauthier is doing solid stuff in Manchester where in 21 games, he has 8 goals, 19 assists, 21 PIMs, 76 shots and a +/- of -3.Moulson has been sent down and Frolov has been placed on IR.
As for goaltenders, here is the breakdown:
Cloutier W-L-SOL of 3-7-0, 3.10 GAA and 88.8% Save Percentage
Quick W-L-SOL of 1-2-0, 2.67 GAA and 90.9% Save Percentage
Ersberg W-L-SOL of 4-3-1, 3.05 GAA and 88.8 Save Percentage
In short, the ride is about to get even bumpier... yikes!!
