I get the feeling that the Foppa situation is about to come to an end quickly now...Rumours are everywhere and even SOLID sources are reporting many contradictory theories. It is my job to give them all to you, as long as the sources are legit and trustworthy....even though sometimes that means a ticket on the roller coaster ride....
So here we go. A very different story from a source VERY close to Peter in Sweden. Very close.
The source said this morning that he believes Peter will announce he is NOT coming back and that Peter has more issues than the foot right now. This being said, Peter is reluctant to admit that he will likely never play again in the NHL....Peter is not happy with his current health progress despite the brave face he puts on for the media...The source also said he expects forsberg to announce he is not healthy enough to compete at a proper level in the NHL.
The source added that the Flyers were the only team he felt Peter would have returned to.
Working on many Rumours today...
First off Jeff Hamilton and Maxim Kondratiev have been placed on waivers by their respective teams, Carolina and Anahiem.
I am working hard on a Leafs rumour this morning where Toronto would send Antropov, McCabe and Raycroft to a Western Conference Team. Last night there were 17 scouts from 15 teams that watched the Maple Leafs lose to the Blues. Still think the Leafs aren't sellers?
Also working on a Sens rumour, Dion Phaneuf rumour, and a possible blockbuster deal between the Flames and Tampa.
Also I am hoping to get the latest on Jokinen, as Montreal starts to move to the front of the pack according to a three different sources.
