"Mats refused to come out and meet the media tonight..Usually he is very prompt and always shows up to be interviewed. Tonight's lacklustre performance may be what pushes him over the edge. Reporters waited more than 30 minutes. Finally, Leaf PR Director Pat Park emerged to tell about 15 reporters that Sundin had "the flu" and had left. He did not make himself available for mid-day skate either."

However by waiting this long they have really put Mats into a situation where he really doesn;t know how to react or what to do."

That is how the GMS who are waiting should strart to respond to the current events tonight. Will he come into play? We don't know and won't know until Saturday. The seven or so teams that are waiting on Mats need to realize to not out their eggs into this basket, and hope they can still make the needed moves to improve their team while holding back the right pieces should Mats suddenly come into play."
