Radim Vrbata is a highly sought after player right now. A 27 year old UFA who has continued to show serious progress an offensive upside notching 27 goals in 07-08 for Phoenix. The two team that I am hearing are the most interested are the Sens and the anucks, however don't count out the Isles, Caps, or the Coyotes re-signing him.

If you haven't hear the Kolzig interiew last week on Xm you missed a really intense, really honest interview from one of the most classy guys in the sport. Kolzig was noticeably upset by the lack of communication with him following the Huet trade. Kolzig said that there was no warning prior, nor was there any continuation of talks following.

The Canadiens and The Rangers are two teams that I am gearing have the most interest in Kolzig. He would be a great fit in either place, as well as in Buffalo.

If the Red Wings Win Tonight, I am told Game 1 and 2 will be Saturday and Monday. If not, It may not start until Monday or Wednesday of next week.

From Earlier Today.

Gaborik: Several trade rumours are popping up about the oft-injured, fastest player in all of hockey. It is no secret that Gabs may indeed need a change of scenery, and two teams that I am hearing are interested are the NY Rangers and the Buffalo Sabres. The Rangers have a ton of cap space, but also need a ton of players...The Sabres are going to be "Very agressive this summer" according to top sources.

Jagr: Larry Brooks reported over the weekend that talks may be beginning soon between Jagr and the Rangers on a one year deal. Tough to say how this will develop, but if Jagr is remaining in North America a few other teams including LA, Edmonton and Vancouver are rumoured to have interest as well.

Jeff Carter (That's right not Anson Carter): Jeff Carter may be the most attractive RFA out there this summer. The Rangers, Oilers, Senators, Red Wings, Stars, Hawks and Sharks are already rumoured to have interest. I do believe the Flyers will offer Jeff a deal in The 5-5.5 per range. I also believe they feel they will retain Jeff, but they also have Umberger and Jones as RFAs and Smith and Modry as UFAs. As is customary after a team is eliminated I will begin adding their players to the The Rumour Chart Here .
