Chris Mason shut out his former Preds in a really solid performance by both teams. It was amazingly exciting. One of those games you don't want to see end. Watching this game, I was impressed by the speed of both teams, especially the Preds who are so well coached you can clearly see the breakouts are smoother than on most teams.

Mason was phenomenal. It had to be a truly emotional victory for him...Very Impressive.

As for Khabibulin, many firmly believe that what is holding back the Nylander deal is a deal that is being put together for Khabibulin...I am convinced that this is the case. The two teams involved with the Khabibulin talks are New Jersey and Toronto.

Yes Toronto.

And before everyone says a big fat , "WHY THE ****?" (which is what I said) realize that the Leafs have the worst GAA and plenty of unused cap space. Also, by picking up Bulin, the Leafs could easily swap him once again at the deadline to a contender for a good pick. Do I think it will happen? No. Is it a legit rumour out there? Yes...He is a hot goalie right now.

As For NJ, I am hearing that Lou will wait until after Thanksgiving to make his evaluation on whether or not the current two goalies are going to lead them into the playoffs...
