The Flyers finally did it ... Danny Briere is on long term injury, retroactive to Dec. 3. This will allow the Flyers to add Randy Jones to the roster once he completes his conditioning assignment with the Phantoms.

Paul Holmgren, the GM, told me today that Jones will play tomorrow with the Phantoms and they'll take it from there.

Flyers go into tonight's game against Colorado without Marty Biron, who has the flu. Antero Niittymaki is in goal while Scott Munroe has been called up.
