What a crazy day of calls. There is a definite sense of urgency on the Bouwmeester sweeps and it may be spurring on some more early talk between Vancouver and NJ.
I am hearing Gionta to Vancouver rumours again as the Canucks are starting to look for more scoring help and clearly see these playoffs as an opportunity to make something happen if they can get their offense on track.
Also there is a growing sense that we are just weeks away from Forsberg's return and Phllly and Colorado are joined by Chicago at the top of the list.

The Canadiens are reportedly discussing bringing Tomas Kaberle to Montreal, and a source told me that the the trade with the Leafs would be the "set up" trade for something bigger.
The source would not give me confirmation when I asked, "Does this mean that Vinny is in play in Montreal?" figuring like I am sure all of you are that the Habs will need to replace the key defenseman that Tampa would require.
Instead, the source said that there were "as many as three possible trades that the Habs are considering to bolster their offense."
