Flyers GM Paul Holmgren comfirmed for me today that Peter Forsberg will remain in Sweden, play for Modo and set his sights on the World Championships.

If all goes well, Foppa will likely enter the FA market this summer. And the Flyers would still be interested.

"That's a long ways off though," Holmgren told me on CSNPhilly.com.
