The Senators are talking trade with a few teams right now and as I reported on Saturday one of those deals is pretty big.
From a source, "We are hearing that there is a deal on the table that would land an All-Star D-man from the Western Conference in Ottawa"
Looking into who that could be, and while my source would not confirm or deny the exact name, I have continually heard that Pronger is on the Senators' radar...
However, I also continue to hear that Scott Niedermayer is telling the Ducks that he is leaning towards playing another season. If that is the case you would think the Ducks would want to hold onto Pronger.
Apple Torts is Done. Well at least he is the coach of the Rangers.
Sometimes you really do have to just let a situation play itself out...Because this one is really confusing at a level that is probably not interesting to most of you...
That being said my NHL source told me that "Torts is the Rangers new coach but there are still major complications."
However, since that was all I could get on the record...Let's just figure that they will work it all out, because mostly everyone thinks they can...deal?
MOVING ON!
The good news for Rangers fans is Tortorella is your new coach. And You have a real winner. Because you do. I love Tortorella and all that he brings to the NHL and the Tortorella/Gomez relationship should be fun theatre to say the least.
