The Matt Gilroy sweeps can't officially begin until the probable Hobey Baker winner plays out his final four next weekend, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of rumours surrounding the puck moving D-man. This kid was a recent guest on the Hockeybuzzcast Podcast and is such a great kid, who has worked his way to this great position he finds himself in.

There are five teams involved as of now according to my sources: Toronto (e4), Vancouver (e3), NJ (e3), Nashville (e4), NY Rangers (e3)

The Projected Final Standings Update...


I had a very strong night on the prediction front going 4-1 including properly predicting that the Sabres would defeat the Capitals in OT. That brings my stretch run total to 11-8. My only miss last night, and therefore the only adjustments in the final projections, was a big one as the Thrashers continue to play much better hockey. They knocked off Florida which meant big things for the Rangers who find themselves on 1 point back in the projected final standings. With a win against Boston, The Rangers would leap back into 8th in the projections and set up a match against those very same Bruins.
