TALBOT:

“They call themselves the most intimidating? “That’s pretty pretentious. They try to be intimidating. They’re all dressed in orange t-shirts and they scream a lot. Does that make the Flyers a better team? I don’t think so.”

BIRON:

“I used to love playing here when I was in Buffalo. The building was so energetic, so much fun to play in. If I was on my game and fans yelled at me, it made me feel better.

“But I was shaky, and I could hear them yell at me like that, then it made me more unsure and uncertain about myself. That’s one thing. [The fans] are very knowledgeable. They want to see your team put in an effort. As soon as they see a little bit of sense that they can sway the game, one way or the other, they do it. And they’re good at it. They’re going to have their target.”
