It is a rainy day in Philadelphia...Perfect day to work on the Soon to Be Released UFA Rumour Chart and get back on track with my Rebuild, Renew, or Refresh...

And of course to watch Anaheim and Detroit...

Which brings me to this question:

Is Ryan Getzlaf Right Now as Good as Eric Lindros was in his Prime?

I am of the belief that he is EXTREMELY comparable.

Besides the mean streak, skating and size similarities, in these playoffs how many times will we see that wrist shot? It is unreal. Quickest release and hardest wrist shot in the NHL...and so reminiscent of the Lindros wrist shot that terrorized teams in the mid-nineties..

These playoffs for Getzlaf remind me so much of Lindros in 1997 versus the NY Rangers in the Conference Finals.

If Getzlaf was wearing orange and black and a big #88, he would be virtually identical...
