1. Komisarek will not return to Montreal, but land near his hometown with the Islanders.
2. Johnny Oduya will be a Canadien and a darn good one for years to come.
3. The Sedins will return to Vancouver. Ohlund will not.
4. A Current Eastern Conference coach who has NOT been fired will ask to go to Western Canada to become the head coach for either Edmonton or Calgary
5. Niittymaki will go to Dallas as a backup for a few years, but he will eventually have a career that will get him All-Star consideration.
6. The Bruins will attempt to get Tkachuk to sign as a UFA.
7. Gaborik will sign with the LA Kings. I promise this.
8. Dwayne Roloson will re-sign with the Oilers.
9. Scott Niedermayer will re-sign in Anaheim, but not before NJ makes a huge push.
10. Dennis Seidenberg will sign a much larger contract than expected due to his playoff performance.
11. Bouwmeester will have his rights traded to either the Flames or the Canadiens.
12. The Penguins will go after Beauchemin and Mark Recchi.
13. Erik Cole will sign a very long deal in Carolina.
14. The Canadiens will explore the Mats Sundin option again...as will the Maple Leafs.
15. Spezza will be in play at the draft and there is a better than 50/50 chance he ends up in Edmonton or Dallas.
16. Hossa will sign with either Edmonton, Ottawa, Washington or LA.
17. Cammalleri will be signed by an Eastern Conference Canadian team that is NOT called the Leafs.
18. LeCavalier will be dealt at the draft to either Montreal or Vancouver for a package that includes a serious defenseman.
19. The Leafs will make 2-3 MAJOR Draft Day moves and the players coming in could include any combination of Rick Nash, Joe Thornton, or John Tavares.
20. The Capitals and Senators will sign one of Nashville's two premiere UFA d-men (Zanon, DeVries, Koistinen)
21. Khabibulin will be retained in Chicago.
22. John Madden will sign with the Hawks as well to give them some needed defensive help up front, along with experience.
23. Bertuzzi will be a Canadien.
24. The Thrashers will make a major play for Havlat.
25. A Major Trade will be attempted for JS Giguere.
26. Brian Gionta will return to NJ.
27. Mike Knuble could return to Boston.
28. Chris Neil will re-sign with Ottawa just prior to July 1.
29. The Rangers will try very hard to bring back Derek Morris.
30. Sammy Pahlsson will find himself in Toronto.
