Ole, ole, ole, ole ...

That will be the new chant on defense as the Flyers added a sixth man today in Ole-Kristian Tollefsen.

It's a one-year deal worth $600,000.

He's had two knee surgeries in Columbus which makes me very skeptical. I think the Flyers should have taken the safer route and signed Ossi Vaananen, who last I checked, was still out there.

“We are very pleased to add Ole to our team,” said general manager Paul Holmgren. “Ole is a defenseman with size and defends very well. At 25 years old he is an ideal fit to the core of our team.”

This probably means Randy Jones could be out the door. Time will tell ...
