Blair Betts has a dislocated right shoulder and will miss at least a month, GM Paul Holmgren said after the Flyer 6-5 OT win over the Caps.

James van Riemsdyk has a possible concussion. Holmgren said "bell rung."

Both players will be re-evaluated. JVR passed a baseline exam after the Milan Jurcina hit midway into the game but only played two shifts after that hit.

Huge, huge loss for the Flyers on the PK.

It really takes the wind of that exhilarating victory.

“It’s too bad; he’s played very well for us,” Holmgren told me. “It’s a very big loss. That’s why you have extra guys.”
