Danny Boy practiced.
So did the big rookie, James van Riemsdyk.
Ryan Parent skated. So did Ole-Kristian Tollefsen.
They all skated long and hard and extra long after practice.
Ah, but the nagging question we all had after practice today was ... will they all play? My hunch is that the Flyers won't cram 4 players into the lineup Thursday against Ottawa right off injury.
I am 99% percent certain that unless Briere and JVR take a setback, both will be back in the lineup. Jeff Carter's old line with JVR and Briere was really flying around the rink today.
Tollefsen has a history of concussions and his last headache was 2 days ago. Under the medical guidelines, he should not be playing a game until no sooner than this weekend - a full 7 days.
And we all know concussions are cumulative and each one on top of the another, increase the length of "down" time.
Parent seems fine to me and yet when you talk to him about his groin injury he seems scared to say whether he's fit to play. I've never seen a player react like this. He wants the medical staff to say h's OK before he says he is OK.
Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?
