UPDATE (4:00 PM)
Brian Boucher is in goal tonight for the Flyers. I'm a little surprised. I expected Ray Emery to get this game and San Jose and Boucher to play against Phoenix.

PREVIEW (7:15 AM)
Fresh off a big win over the New Jersey Devils, the Flyers (11-5-1) begin a busy stretch of hockey tonight that will see the club play four times in the next six nights. Tonight, the club is in Los Angeles to take on Anze Kopitar and the Kings.
Terry Murray's Kings squad has been one of the Western Conference's most pleasant surprises so far this season. Although Murray is a stickler for defense-first play, the Kings have been high-scoring (69 goals scored) while allowing 67 goals (tied in the West with Ken Hitchcock's Blue Jackets and the Ducks for the most goals given up).
The Flyers cannot afford to look past this game to the showdown on Friday with the NHL leading San Jose Sharks. The Kings have been deadly in transition this year and are good at jumping on clubs that don't have skating legs early in games. Philly needs to continue playing the sort of gritty two-way hockey that has brought victories to the team in six of the last seven games.
