PREVIEW (9:30 AM)
The Flyers will look for their third straight win today when they travel to Long Island to take on the Islanders. Philly usually does well against the Islanders, but today's tilt (which has an unusual 5 PM start time) will be a good test of whether the Flyers can avoid the type of collapses that marred the game last night in Carolina and on Wednesday in Tampa.
With Brian Boucher still not 100% recovered from a lacerated ring finger, Michael Leighton is likely to get the call in net again. Ryan Parent suffered back spasms before last night's game and the club has recalled Danny Syvret to fill in.
Starting lineup (subject to change)
Hartnell - Carter - Briere
Gagne- Richards- Giroux
JVR - Powe - Asham
Carcillo - Betts - Laperriere
Coburn - Pronger
Carle - Timonen
Bartulis - Syvret
Leighton
[Boucher]
