The Razor was making an edge on the ice today at Skate Zone.
Ray Emery was back at practice but says he is just 65-70 percent and still, in the words of coach Peter Laviolette, "a way's away," from returning.
The 6-week figure for recovery from abdominal surgery would put Emery at Jan. 20. He thinks he is ahead of schedule and said he actually began skating last week while the Flyers were on their road trip.
“I’m getting better every day, I’m still a little sore and working things out, but I got a chance to go on the ice today and felt better than I thought I would,” Emery said.
Brian Boucher was also back on the ice today. There was no formal practice as the players had a day off after back-to-back games. Only players on the ice were scratches and those who are not getting much ice time.
