PREVIEW (8:30 AM)

With the Winter Classic behind them, the Flyers (19-18-3) will have to buckle down today when they play a matinee in Ottawa against a Senators (21-16-4) club that is 10-3-0 in its last 13 games at home and 15-6-3 overall. The Flyers often struggle to win in Ottawa, losing six of the last seven games at Scotiabank Place.

The Senators are currently dealing with key injuries and will be without Jason Spezza (knee) and captain Daniel Alfredsson (shoulder) for several weeks to come. So far at least, Ottawa has found ways to win anyway, going 3-1-0 in the four games since Alfredsson went down and joined Spezza on the sidelines.

The Flyers need to continue playing the caliber of team defense they displayed against the Rangers and during most of the Winter Classic game against Boston. Their sporadic offense also needs to find ways to finish scoring chances.
