MINI-PREVIEW (8 AM)

The Flyers will look to continue their recent winning ways when they take on the Dallas Stars at the Wachovia Center tonight. This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. The Flyers will travel to Dallas in March.

The Stars have been a tough club to figure out this season. At home, they've been a very solid club, but Dallas has won just seven of 23 road games. The top line has been outstanding, especially of late. In particular, Loui Eriksson has emerged as one of the NHL's most underrated players.

The Flyers recent upswing has coincided with improvements in the club's special teams play and in finally getting a healthy lineup intact. Michael Leighton will start in goal again tonight.
