MINI-PREVIEW (10:30 AM)

The Flyers will look to run their record to 4-0-0 on their current six-game homestand this afternoon when they take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins at the Wachovia Center. The Flyers will have to match or surpass their effort from Thursday against the Rangers in order to accomplish the task.

Philly has been getting the job done in all three zones during this home-stretch but they've given up several power play goals in two of the last three games. That followed on the heels of a tremendous stretch of penalty killing. Despite the Pens' struggles on the man advantage this season, the Flyers would be well advised to stay out of the box because Pittsburgh can explode at any time. Apart from Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, Sergei Gonchar and Ruslan Fedotenko have routinely burned the Flyers throughout their careers.
