MINI-PREVIEW (8 AM)
In their last game before the Olympic break, the Flyers will look to complete a home-and-home sweep of the Montreal Canadiens. Last night, the Flyers dominated for two periods, building a 3-0 lead and then barely held on in a tense third period for a 3-2 win.T he Flyers had numerous chances to put away the Habs -- including a pair of five-on-three power plays -- but let Montreal get back into the game.
There is no word yet as of this writing on whether Darroll Powe will be suspended for boarding Jaroslav Spacek late in the third period of last night's game. The Flyers survived the disadvantage to close out the win, and the two teams left calling cards for tonight's game after the final horn.

Along with a host of other Hockeybuzz bloggers, I will be blogging each day during the Olympics for Versus.com. I will be the Team Sweden correspondent. The
first installment ponders the questions of whether the new generation of Swedish stars are ready and able to succeed the "Golden Generation" (players born between 1970 and 1975) and lead Tre Kronor to another gold medal.
I will also be writing Olympic-related Daily Drop columns on an every other day basis. Today's Daily Drop looks at the
remarkable resolve the Vancouver Canucks have shown in a season marked by key injuries early in the season and a marathon 14-game road trip bisected by the Olympics.
Over at NHL.com, there are previews of every team in the tournament. I provided the writeups for
Latvia and Belarus (the latter to be published this weekend).
