It is a really interesting idea. VERY. I haven't heard this on the rumor mill, but as a believer of the concept, some goalies are better in some systems. I think you are onto something. Price would be almost too perfect in NJ. You'd have to get a ton back.

It would cost too much Patrick Sharp, Versteeg. I don't see it happening. The Hawks are looking around though for a goalie. That much is certain.

Yes. Some. And as you know even the Canadiens being willing to extend a player like this is a development towards the positive. Plekanec likes it there. I think it gets done in March.

Trade. And frankly I would be shocked if they stayed put. I have always loved Horton, but I keep hearing the core is very stale. I believe moving Horton is why they sent the letter to their fans. They are afraid trading him could cause major concern.

Besides betting with Penguins fans? I am giving up taking so much time away from my kids for work. I plan on putting the phone on vibrate and not taking calls when the time is right for family. Getting your own biz off the ground is 24/7/365, and while I try to be there for my family, I question how "present" I really am. Often I am distracted and I have a boy almost 5 and a girl who is going to be 8. They are the best and deserve more from their dad. Losing my dad and the whole Brendan Burke thing hit me hard because I know the family. Burkie has been a better father than I am and he lost his son. That hit me.

Yes I do. Absolutely. Gainey stepped down right before the trade deadline for a reason. The timing wasn't coincidental. The Habs are going to be active. They need another D and some more toughness. I know Gauthier very well. He wants a more physical team.

Either is possible, but I think Weiss is more likely. The Leafs will have a very busy first three days of March.

Stempniak I could see in Buffalo, Ponikarovski in Boston, Exelby in NJ or Nashvile.

Less now that Gauthier is there. I will tell this however. I have talked to more than one team who has turned down Huet trades this year. So there was a time Montreal was ready to move him. Are they now? I think Gauthier would more likely move Price.
