This tweet from several people tonight says it all:

doyoubelieveinMillercles!

USA came at Canada from the drop of the puck and was hungrier the entire way. Miller gave them a chance.

If Miller plays like that in the playoff, watch out ...

How many Canadians go off the deep end tonight around Canada after this one?

It ain't exactly the Super Bowl, but I think a lot of puckheads in the U.S. will be glued to their TVs tonight for Canada-USA.

The Great One has already prognosticated a Canada-Russian gold medal final. The nerve of him.

Why am I only one who thinks the U.S. might upset Canada given the way its played so far here?

A lot of Canadian journalists weren't happy with Canada's final roster. They thought the team had too much skill, not enough grit whereas Team USA is the other way around.

Canadian coach Mike Babcock has moved up Mike Richards to play with Sidney Crosby. He started with Jarome Iginla and Patrice Bergeron and now it's Richard's turn.

"I've played with some talented players before, with Peter Forsberg when he was with us," Richards told the Globe & Mail. "You've just got to expect the puck at all times and never count him out of the play. I mean, he's a fast player, so you try to give him the puck with speed."

Speaking of Foppa, I thought he looked overweight with Sweden - definitely bigger than he was as a Flyer. Wonder if you take well under market value to give it another shot in Philly which will remain cap-strapped going into the trade deadline.

"I'm not 25 years old any more," Forsberg told reporters in Vancouver. "I wish I was but I'm not. There are new, younger guys who have moved in and they are expected to carry the big load now, not me.

"I guess one of the good things with that is I don't have to face the other team's top players any more. I know my time is winding up. And I'm okay with that."

I'd rather see Foppa with the Flyers than Ville Leino.

Hum? Do you think Peter Laviolette would find a place for him in the lineup?
