Dreary day in Philly. Wet, dark, and perfect for movie watching on the sofa.
Anyway...
Bruce Garrioch, wrote a story yesterday that the Sens were looking at possibly aquiring PJ Axelsson from the Bruins. I can confirm this to indeed being a discussion, however according to my source, "To date the Bruins are asking for MUCH more than the Sens are willing to give up, including a top 4 d, and a NHL forward."
Hats off to Bruce for uncovering this rumor, and my source told me that he will continue to update me should the Bruins demands lessen or a deal gets any closer...
For Bruce's story go to:

Rumors have been swirling for some time now that the Kings are shopping Conroy, and the latest rumor (e3) has the caps possibly bring in in the speedy center to play with AO...Could be very interesting to watch that
Also the Canucks are rumored to be "Seriously Interested" in goalie Brian Boucher to backup Luongo. A source has told me that the belief is that a veteran is needed who has shown he can handle pressure, should Luong go down and the Canucks need to go with another goalie. "If Luongo goes down, you will have a BIG, big problem in Vancouver. The team needs to win NOW, and the fans won't accept anything less regardless of injury....no excuses will save this group if they miss the postseason this season."
