PREVIEW (9:30 AM)
As the Flyers get ready to conclude a four-game homestand with a matinee against the powerhouse Chicago Blackhawks. This will be a measuring stick game for Philly. The Flyers are coming off an ugly loss to the Bruins and have yet to put forth a playoff-caliber 60-minute effort since the Olympic break, despite the club's record since the break. The Flyers will have to be at their best against a team that is both high-scoring and stingy defensively.
Peter Laviolette juggled his lines at practice yesterday. The Mike Richards line was intact, but Jeff Carter skated with Ville Leino and James van Riemsdyk, and Claude Giroux centered Scott Hartnell and Danny Briere. Blair Betts' line was also intact.
Cristobal Huet will get the start for Chicago. Laviolette would not name a starter in advance of the back-to-back games this weekend, but it appears as if Brian Boucher will go today and Michael Leighton will get the Rangers game.
