Jacques Lemaire is unhappy with the officials for penalizing his team in the second period for the same infraction he claims the Flyers committed in OT:
Too many men on the ice.
“Nobody talked about them having too many guys just before our penalty [against David Clarkson],” Lemaire said tonight on a conference call with reporters.
“Nobody saw that. We were yelling. A guy was at center ice and nobody said a word about it. That was before the winning goal. Before the power play they had too many men on the ice.”
I didn't see it; I didn't hear a single person mention it after the game, either.
But I agree with Lemaire on this. The call against the Devils in the second period was ticky-tacky for a playoff game. The officials did their best to ruin the game.

BTW: Mike Richards had some fun today with the media, thanks to Ian Laperriere. Happy to see the Flyers captain relaxed and laughing and getting along with people.
