Pronger Trying to Deflect Attention Away? |

The thought occur to me that the whole Chris Pronger/Ben Eager episode after Game 2 might have been a calculated setup by Pronger to divert attention away from the Flyers being down 0-2 in this Stanley Cup Final series.
Nothing Pronger does is ever by chance or accident or even coincidental. There's a plan. TSN's Michael Landsberg and I were talking about that this morning on "OTR."
Maybe Pronger wants to shift the focus to him for these two games in Philly to get the spotlight off goalie Michael Leighton, who 37 minutes of pretty good hockey, but still was outplayed by Antti Niemi.
Two games now and it's "last save wins" in this series.
