But Michael Leighton apparently strained his lower back on Friday night during the Flyers 4-3 shootout win over Toronto.

GM Paul Holmlgren told me he had a lower back "issue" in the overtime portions before Brian Boucher replaced him. Holmgren told CSNPhilly. com he was "cautiously optimistic."

I think fans will agree that the LAST thing this club needs is a goalie injury going into a season with a team that is every bit as capable of going as far as it did last year.
