Finally, Sergei Bobrovsky gets a rest.
Odd thing is, coach Peter Laviolette said befor Saturday's game against Washington that Brian Boucher was going to play and it had nothing to do with BOB needing rest. Lavy would not even acknowledge that his rookie might be tired after 12 straight starts.
But Bob told goalie coach Jeff Reese he needed a breather.
“It’s the right decision by the coaches after the Tampa game,” Bobrovsky said, via a translator. “I’m not surprised. Obviously, I wasn’t as fresh as other games. Some fatigue, but nothing to worry about.”
