Bernie Parent night here at Wells Fargo Center as his banner from the Spectrum was taken down and given to him.

We asked Bernie about BOB - Sergei Bobrovsky.

“People talk about his quickness which is just incredible. From left to right, right to left, it’s just awesome,” Parent said.

“There’s more to it when you play as well as he does. It’s incredible, his understanding of the game.

“How you focus on the understanding of the game, once you understand the game and you have that natural talent, it’s easier to get better. And that’s what he does.

“You watch him play, look at how he positions himself if it’s a left-hand shot or right-hand shot. "It’s very interesting for a 22-year-old kid to do this. It’s incredible.”

Parent said that BOB's athleticism reminds him of ... Pelle Lindbergh.
