I was actually surprised at Ed Snider's reaction to Ted Leonsis "Flyers Suck" comment.

I thought for certain the Flyers' chairman would blow a gasket. A number of people in the Flyers' organization thought the same.

But Snider was able to sift through the remark of what was behind what the Washington Capitals' owner said and saw it as an accurate observation and had some fun with it.

It was true. Pens-Caps fans hating each other on the ice at the Winter Classic but sharing something in common: Flyers Suck.

“It was an interesting tongue-in-cheek observation," Snider told me. "I like the fact that there two teams playing each other and the fans are yelling, ‘Flyers suck.’ I think it’s kinda funny. It’s a testament to the Flyers, I think."
