Chris Pronger's right hand remains swollen after taking a shot off it in Thursday's win over the Isles.

He is questionable for SAT's game in Ottawa which is why the Flyers have called up Erik Gustafsson from the Phantoms. He will meet the team in Ottawa.

Nik Zherdev met with both coach Peter Laviolette and GM Paul Holmgren on FRI and he seems to have gotten an attitude adjustment.

Zherdev said he has a better understanding of what is expected of him and wants to remain on the NHL roster w/the Flyers. He also said - and this surprised all of us - that IF he were sent to the Phantoms on Monday, he would report.

Now, that could be because it was no doubt humbling to him that no NHL club claimed him on waivers. But Zherdev was actually talking today which is a rarity.

One more thing. Laviolette told me he met privately with Zherdev twice this week.
