Turns out the Flyers CAN'T sign Czech forward Tomas Hyka because of technicalities within the CBA.

And technically speaking, he is not an unrestricted free agent eligible for signing.

Flyers assistant GM Barry Hanrahan confirmed to CSNPhilly.com this morning that Hyka will be returned to his junior club in Gatineau today.

The Flyers said they had been talking with the NHL trying to sort out the complexities of the CBA on this matter.click here
