The Predators second home preseason game drops the puck at 7pm tonight as Nashville welcomes Washington to Music City. The ice won't be the factor it was last week in Baltimore for the rematch.

Both teams are expected to play more of their veterans tonight, especially on Nashville's blueline, the top four will get more minutes according to coach Barry Trotz.

It is a homecoming of sorts for former Nashville Predator Joel Ward. It will be his first game in Nashville since signing a big free agent deal with the Caps.

Game time is 7pm, coverage on 102.5 the Game and streaming live on predators.nhl.com. Ses you tonight at the Bridge.

Brendan Shanahan may have to put in for overtime this preseason as he has handed down another suspension, this one for Jean-Francois Jacques of the Anaheim Ducks. HIs suspension of five regular season games and the rest of preseason was leveied for leaving the bench on a legal line change for the purpose of starting a fight.
