The Phantoms play the Albany Devils in exhibition game today at the SkateZone in Voorhees. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 2 PM. The game is free to attend, but seats in the stands will taken up fast (even on a Tuesday afternoon).

Based up the roster released for today's game and the line combinations that Terry Murray has been using at camp so far, the Phantoms lineup may look like this:

FORWARDS

Brayden Schenn - Garrett Roe - Jason Akeson
Tye McGinn - Sean Couturier - Matt Ford
Harry Zolnierczyk - Ben Holmstrom - Zac Rinaldo
Tyler Brown - Andrew Johnston - Shane Harper

Note: Eric Wellwood's name is not on today's roster. I was not at yesterday's practice, so I'm not sure if he sustained an injury of some sort of if it's just to look at other players.

DEFENSE

Marc-Andre Bourdon - Erik Gustafsson
Danny Syvret - Brandon Manning
Oliver Lauridsen - Cullen Eddy
Tyler Hostetter - Blake Kessel

GOALTENDERS

Niko Hovinen, Cal Heeter and Scott Munroe are all active and may get one period apiece.

FLYERS IN EUROPE

Ilya Bryzgalov was a healthy scratch for the second straight game when CSKA Moscow defeated Metallurg Magnitogorsk, 2-1, via shootout. CSKA's primary starter this season, former Washington Capitals goalie Rastislav Stana, was coming off back-to-back shutouts. With the score tied 1-1 early in the third period, Stana had to leave the game with an injury. Backup Ilya Proskuryakov came in to finish the game. It looks like Bryzgalov will get his second start of the season tomorrow. By the way, neither Pavel Datsyuk nor Evgeni Malkin figured in the scoring yesterday.

Jakub Voracek earned one assist in HC Lev's 5-3 win over Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. For the season to date, Voracek has six points (1G, 5A) in six games. HC Lev is idle today.

Ruslan Fedotenko's HC Donbass team was idle yesterday and does not play again until tomorrow. The Ukrainian KHL team will host Latvian team Dinamo Riga.

Wayne Simmonds has one point (1A) in two Bundesliga games so far. His Eispiraten club hosts SC Riessersee tomorrow.

Matt Read could make his Allsvenskan debut for Södertälje SK on Saturday when the team is on the road to play Asplöven HC.

Nick Cousins' court date was originally scheduled for yesterday. Not surprisingly, there was a postponement for the alleged sexual assault case involving Cousins and Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds teammates Andrew Fritsch and Mark Petaccio. The hearing was re-scheduled for Nov 5. Cousins, who has eight points (3G, 5A) in the first four games of the OHL regular season, will continue playing in the interim. The Greyhounds play the Saginaw Spirit tomorrow night.

Scott Laughton (5GP, 1G, 4A, 5PTS, 8PIM) and Colin Suellentrop (5GP, 0G, 5A, 5PTS, +4) played on three consecutive nights from Friday to Sunday. Their Oshawa Generals team next plays on Friday, hosting the Kingston Frontenacs.

Taylor Leier continues to rehab a torn abdominal muscle. He is still likely a couple weeks from being ready for game action.

Russian defenseman Valeri Vasiliev has joined the USHL's Waterloo Black Hawks after leaving his Russian team, MHK Spartak, about 10 days ago. Last weekend, I reached out to Flyers and Waterloo team officials, and could not get comment. SB Nation's Travis Hughes got confirmation from the USHL and Chris Peters directed me to Vasiliev's recent inclusion on the official Black Hawks roster approved by the league. However, Vasiliev's acquisition has not yet been announced on the team's Web Site or roster page.
