Tuesday Results Roundup
* Södertälje SK came within 26 seconds of recording a shutout but had to "settle" for a 4-1 home victory over Almtuna.
Matt Read scored a goal to break out of a three-game pointless stretch.
Nicklas Grossmann played his fourth and final contracted game with SSK.
*
Max Talbot did not record a point in Ilves Tampere's 3-1 loss to Lukko Rauma.
* In a game involving three Flyers prospects, the Oshawa Generals bested the Peterborough Petes by a 3-2 score. Oshawa's
Scott Laughton did not record a point, but defenseman
Colin Suellentrop assisted on the first goal of the game, scored just 1:20 after the opening faceoffs. Peterborough's
Derek Mathers did record a point and took a checking-from-behind minor in the third period, which Oshawa turned into a power play goal for a 3-0 lead. The Petes got two of the goals back late in the final period but were unable to find the equalizer.
