The Phoenix Coyotes chances to remain in Glendale, Arizona got a mighty big bump today when Global Spectrum announced it was joining Renaissance Sports & Entertainment to assist with the handling of Jobing.com Arena.

The fate of the Coyotes will finally be decided this evening (we think) at a Glendale City Council meeting.

But having the financial and infrastructure of Global Spectrum behind RSE's proposal should give Council the necessary confidence level to approve the new ownership deal.

Global Spectrum has a proven track record. It would not get involved in the Coyotes situation if it felt it were a losing cause.
