Tuesday Quick Hits
* Later today, the Flyers will formally introduce Vincent Lecavalier, Mark Streit and Ray Emery at a 1 p.m. photo op/ press conference at the Wells Fargo Center. Meanwhile, the Flyers development camp in Voorhees continues today with sessions from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 2:30 p.m.
* The Hockey Hall of Fame will announce its Class of 2013 inductees later today. Eric Lindros and the late Fred Shero are once again up for consideration, although I would be (very pleasantly) surprised if either one gets selected. Brendan Shanahan, Chris Chelios and Scott Niedermayer are the three most likely to be chosen this year, with Pat Burns possibly being posthumously inducted in the Builder category.
* Tomorrow in Stone Harbor, NJ, is the annual Trial on the Isle, featuring the attendees at the Flyers development camp. The activities start at 96th St. beach at 9 a.m., with an autograph signing event at Stone Harbor Elementary School from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m., and a beach volleyball tournament at 3 p.m.
Coming tomorrow: Ranking the top forward prospects in the Flyers' system, and reactions to the Hall of Fame selections and the player introduction press conference.
