Donovan Gets A Ferry Ride |

For Matt Donovan's post game honesty regarding his mistake on the ice, he gets a ferry ticket to Bridgeport. In his place, Calvin deHaan will finally get his shot in Uniondale. (as per an early morning Tweet by Newsday's Art Staple)
It was another heartbreaker as the Isles continue to fall short on the score board. But Jack Capuano seemed to believe that "it was a costly turnover" that lead to yet another loss. Matt Donovan's turn over.
But in all honesty, wasn't it really just a good 16 minutes of hockey last night? Where is the actual urgency out of this team? Did it only show up after John Tavares closed the gap enough to make it possible to tie the game? Sholdn't these players be fighting for their lives out there? How far does the slide have to go before they "find a way"?
The Isles are digging a hole deeper and deeper. This is the team that wanted to contend for the Stanley Cup this season. This is a team that will be playing games simply for fun by February.
