Ryan Miller was injured when his he was slammed into by his own defenseman Jannik Hansen in Sunday night's game versus the NY Islanders.
Based on the below video, it appears that Miller has suffered a right knee injury.
He made one save after he was plowed into and then had to be helped off the ice to the Vancouver room. Eddie Lack took Miller's place in the Canucks net.
Thanks, Sportsnet
Its too early to tell whether or not this injury will prevent MIller from starting in Buffalo on Thursday night. It will be Miller's first game in Buffalo since he was traded with Steve Ott to the St. Louis Blues last February.
I will update Miller's injury shortly....

Are Ilya Bryzgalov's days done in Anaheim?
According to the AP, the Ducks are about to waive the veteran tender.
Bryzgalov hasn't played since he allowed three goals on just eight shots in a 6-2 loss at Florida on February 10.
The 34-year-old went 1-4-1 in eight appearances since signing a one-year, $2.88 million contract with Anaheim in December.
The Ducks were in need of goaltending depth behind Frederik Andersen after rookie John Gibson was sidelined by a groin injury.
Gibson has played six games since being recalled February 10 following a two-month stint in the minors. Andersen is day to day after missing six games with an upper-body injury.
Might the Ducks make a play for Sabres goalie Michal Neuvirth as an insurance policy?
Neuvirth is a pending UFA. The Ducks scouted him earlier this season when Freddy Andersen and John Gibson were injured.

Winnipeg, Carolina, NY Rangers, Vancouver, Dallas, Montreal, and Toronto are here.
The Jets, Rangers, Canucks, Satrs, and Canadiens are buyers heading into the March 2 NHL trade deadline. The Canes and Leafs will once again be sellers.

Tim Murray has two mitts full of pending UFAs that he would like to convert into raft choices and players.
Chris Stewart, Michal Neuvirth, Tyson Strachan, Andre Benoit, and Andrej Meszaros are the pending UFAs to keep an eye on in the next week.

Tim Murray has recalled defensemen Mark Pysyk and Jake McCabe to the Sabres.
The law firm of Pysyk and McCabe will be defending Michal Neuvirth's cage tonight.
The team has also officially placed Josh Gorges and Patrick Kaleta on IR.
McCabe joins the Sabres for his second career recall and his first recall of the 2014-15 season. In 49 games with Rochester this season, McCabe has led all AHL rookie defensemen with 25 points (4+21), including 10 in his last 11 games.
A native of Eau Claire, Wisc., McCabe made his NHL debut during the 2013-14 season, playing in seven games with the Sabres after being drafted in the second round (44th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Pysyk ( joins the Sabres for his third recall of the season. He has played in four games with Buffalo in 2014-15, scoring a goal in the team’s game at Ottawa on December 29.
In parts of three seasons with the Sabres, Pysyk has played in 67 games and recorded 13 points (3+10). With Rochester this season, Pysyk has appeared in 50 games and contributed 16 points (3+13).
The Sherwood Park, Alberta native was drafted by the Sabres in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
Veteran D Mike Weber will also be lost to the Sabres for at least the next couple of weeks after he suffered an upper body injury in the first period of the 3-1 loss to the Rangers on Friday night.
Tyson Strachan has developed an infection and will not play tonight, per Nolan.
Perhaps the most shocking and disappointing news from today's skate is that Nikita Zadorov will be benched for tonight's game due to a "team reasons".
Nolan: Strachan had some kind of infection overnight & will be out tonight. Zadorov will be out for team reasons. #NSHvsBUF
I'm not even going to speculate on what the immature Zadorov has done now to earn his second benching in the past month.
You'll recall that due to terrible weather on the east coast, the 20 year old Russian was stuck in the Dominican Republic after the NHL All Star Game. He arrived late for a scheduled team practice and consequently missed the team charter to the west coast road trip. He flew solo to join the team on the road and was benched by Nolan. He had to apologize to the leadership and the players on the team for not being prepared to resume play after the NHL All Star break.
Kids live and learn, right?
When is Zadorov going to learn?
That wasn't Zadorov's first scrape with the law this season. Remember when he was benched during a Traverse City Prospects Tournament game in September for loafing his way through a blowout loss?
With the NHL trade deadline eight days away, Zadorov has put the bulls eye on his own head with his persistent lack of discipline and his violations of non-negotiable team rules.
The Sabres are said to be all over the Colorado Avalanche regarding power center Ryan O'Reilly.
Zadorov may well be playing his way out of Buffalo before his bright future officially begins.
Tim Murray and Ted Nolan must be thinking Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, three times? Shame on you.
How many chances is this kid going to get? When is he finally going to get his (bleep) together and start thinking about the team first? In my opinion, he has squandered a great opportunity to get himself back into the starting lineup and to earn his ice time again. Nolan and Murray NEED him to play tonight due to the Weber and Strachan injuries. Talk about an opportunity blown and a bridge burned. Now Murray has to reach down to Rochester for call-ups who I presume will be Mark Pysyk and Jake McCabe, or Mark Pysyk and Chad Ruhwedel. The Amerks play Syracuse Crunch at 5pm today.
Hey, Nikita. This is the NHL. Your job isn't guaranteed. You need to earn the respect of your head coach, GM and teammates, or else you don't play.
