POST-PRACTICE ROUNDUP: OPENING NIGHT LINEUP SET
The Philadelphia Flyers held their final preseason practice on Wednesday at the Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ in preparation for their regular season opening game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday evening. The team will take a charter to Tampa Bay on Wednesday afternoon.
After practice, Flyers head coach Dave Hakstol said that Luke Schenn will be in the starting lineup in Tampa, with ex-Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas sitting out as a healthy scratch. The forward lineup excludes Sam Gagner and Vincent Lecavalier. The line combinations will be as follows:

Much of Wednesday's practice was devoted to special teams work, with the second half of practice mostly being five-and-five work off faceoffs and playing out from the corners and side boards. The power play units are as follows:
The first unit has Raffl (between hash marks, puck support). Giroux (trigger man, left half boards) - Simmonds (netfront), Streit (left to center point), Voracek (right point to bottom of right circle).
The second unit has Umberger (netfront, puck support), Couturier (right boards to middle), Brayden Schenn (left boards to middle, puck support), Del Zotto (left point) and Medvedev (right boards).
