Robert Esche to Rangers (e3-4)


Esche is the perfect fit for the Rangers backup role. You simply can not build a Cup contender and risk the possibility of your top goalie going down at a critical junction and not having a guy you can trust in the playoffs. Esche is in great shape and is the one goalie that could lead a team to a Cup, and that is among all the goalies from this summer's Ufa crop since July 1.

Sharks---- les backup

Update:According to four seperate sources the Sharks are keepijng a close ear to the Montreal Canadiens situation and what may or may not occur with phenom rookie Price. Should Price make the team, as is widely anticipated, the Habs will have a backup to spare and the Sharks reportedly really like Halak.

It was pointed out to me by an NHL team VP that we turned 2 yesterday. So if someone commetns today with "Eklund, that's ridiculous, were you born yesterday?" The answer would be, "yes."
