**Sutton's expected to forfeit $31, 088.08. (thank you to a Pens blog I snatched the # from)
After today's NHL disciplinary hearing with Andy Sutton, the ruling is what I consider fair and reasonable. Andy Sutton is suspended for two games for the hit last night on Pascal Dupuis into the dasher boards.
His remorse was evident, however standards must be set. I'm pretty certain this debate will continue far longer than Sutton's suspension. But it is something the entire hockey world is struggling with.
We understand that this is a dangerous game. We all understand that there is risk every time they step on the ice. We also understand that there cannot be too many regulations as that would destroy the game we all love.
This is a slippery slope.
I do not see any further update on the Penguins site on the status of Dupuis, however, his agent did Tweet that he was 'okay' and thanked everyone for their get well wishes.
Andy will get a chance to sit and think. And think he will. This is a man who has been accused of using his size rather reluctantly in the game. I hope this doesn't effect his game.
